The Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the town and parish of Cardington in the County of Bedford by and with the consent of Sir George Blundell and William Spencer Esq two of HIs Majesties Justices of the Peace for the said County...have placed and put Richard Richardson unto John Whiteman of Cardington, yeoman to be an apprentice with him to serve from the day and date hereof for the term of seven years to learn the art of husbandry.
