    Bundle of papers relating to a fire on Bromham Green on 30 April 1835, including: Inventories of goods lost by Mr. Osborn, Mr. Inskip, Henry Abrahams and Mr. Church: Subscription list, subscription accounts, balance sheet, and receipts; Receipted bills for items replaced in kind; and a letter concerning a suggestion in a Cambridge newspaper that money collected for the relief of the sufferers had not been fairly distributed. Note: the fire was reported in the Northampton Mercury on 2 May 1835, where it is stated that the fire began in Mr. Rogers' house, and in under an hour it destroyed 5 houses, "barns and homestalls of two farms, three ricks, 2 wheat hovels, and a quantity of corn in sacks, in addition to a considerable quantity of household goods".
