Covenants against incumbrants. - Indorsement 11th April 1693 on Indenture 10th July 1685 [Z927/4/13]. - James Heames had promised Elizabeth Bennet of Nottingham, widow and administratrix of Pigot Sanderson, late of the Inner Temple, London, by Indenture 21st June between 1) Elizabeth Bennet of the first part, 2) Charles Nicholls and James Heames, 3) Richard Sheppard, yeoman of Offley, Herts, to assign terms of 500 years in the manor house and premises.
