Surrender of lease. John Whitbread Tuck surrenders the remainder of a 14 year lease for it to be merged and extinguished in the freehold estate now partly vested in John Edwards, and partly in John Field now Thomas Field, on - messuage and farm house, several closes of arable, meadow and pasture containing 150a in Silsoe, Higham and Pulloxhill occ by Francis Hawkins as tenant at will for 360 pa Recites 14 year lease 26 August 1819 by John Whitbread Tuck, farmer, of Silsoe from Dame Mary Abdy, widow, of Saville Row, Middlesex, and Sir William Abdy, Baronet of Cobham, Surrey. On 18/19 Jan they sold the freehold and inheritance in fee simple of the messuage, farm house etc, being part of the premises described above, to John Edwards esq of Silsoe. They also sold the freehold and inheritance in fee simple of two closes, being the remaining part of the premises, to Thomas Field, cheesemonger, of Newgate St, London on 18 and 19 January 1822. 25th February 1822 Witness: Richard Eve
