STATUTORY DECLARATION of Mary Ruffhead, widow, of High Street, Wickford, Essex 25 October 1935. (1) James Ruffhead of The Castle Hotel, Wickford appointed MR, James Charles Ruffhead and George Ruffhead trustees by his will 1907, (2) the residue of the estate went to the trustees to sell, with proceeds put to pay income to MR and to all his children who attain 21 years, (3) recites probate, (4) all the children of James Ruffhead survived him and attained 21 years (5) on 12 December 1908 George Ruffhead retired from the trusteeship, and on 26 February 1909 he bought some copyhold land which was part of James Ruffhead's estate (6) to the best of her knowledge, all the children have known of the facts for more than 12 years
