    ABSTRACT OF TITLE of John Tansley to land in Arlesey Road, Stotfold. Recites (I) conveyance 29 Sept 1903 between 1) Charles Handley, butcher of Henlow and Samuel Wilson, farmer of Clifton 2) Annie Jane Kendall, widow, of Millow Hall, Dunton and Arthur Abraham Kendall, farmer of Chawston, Bedfordshire for 358 and 20 deposit in fee simple, as if the purchase had been completed in the lifetime of William Thomas Kendall, on 2 pieces arable land next to each other in Stotfold on the S of High Road to Arlesey and Shefford, containing altogether 5ac 2r 31p, and bounded E then or formerly by William Ingrey, S by public drain or water course, numbered 270a & b and 271 in the Stotfold Inclosure Award and Plan, coloured red on attached plan. Recites (II) George Hare, farmer, late of Henlow, agreed to sell to W T Kendall, farmer, of Millow Hall, for 378; WTK paid 20 deposit but no further money had been paid. Recites (III) George Hare died 23 May 1903, his will 8 April 1903, pro 11 July 1903 appointed (2) as executors. Recites (III) death, will and probate of WTK. Recites(IV) agreement for completion of the purchase. Recites (V) conveyance 27 October 1920 from 1) Annie Jane Kendall and Arthur Abraham Kendall to 2) Arthur Charles Whitmore Hyde, market gardener of Stotfold, for 650 in fee simple. Recites (VI) mortgage 15 December 1920 between 1) Arthur Charles Whitmore Hyde (mortgagor) 2) Henry Franklin, miller and merchant of Biggleswade and Frederick George Billing esq of Woodside Worth, Kent (mortgagees) of 400 with declaration negativing powers of leasing. Recites (VII) death of Frederick George Billing on 19 June 1921 at Victoria Hospital, Deal, Kent. Recites (VIII) reconveyance 30 June 1924 between 1) Henry Franklin (mortgagee) 2) Arthur Charles Whitmore Hyde (borrower) for 260 repaid on all the property except that listed in 2nd schedule, which was discharged for 140 by indenture 29 March 1924. Recites (i) 2nd Schedule: land in Stotfold on S of High Road to Arlesey and Shefford with frontage of 130', running backwards on the E and W sides 170', and 130' wide at the back, bounded S and W by (a) and E by Mr Ingrey. Recites (IX) conveyance 1 December 1926 with plan from 1) A C W Hyde to 2) John Tansley, assistant overseer, of Stotfold, for 650 in fee simple, of land on S of High Road, Stotfold, bounded E in part by Annie Ingrey and part by land recently sold by (1) to Alfred George Baxter, S by public drain or watercourse, W formerly by John Tookey then Mrs Tookey, coloured or edged red on plan.
