- TitleFrom: Samuel Whitbread I at Bedwell Park To: Thomas Strong I hope you have had a pleasant tour & Mrs.Strong safe hence again & here business meets you again. First to tell you I saw Mr.Young but that rests at present; next Mr.Oddy to give list of Lord F. Fee Farm Rents to get him to buy them & it was proper to tell him that I made a Codicil to confirm my part of the Agreement he aproved & desired me to lay it before Mr.Fearn. I told him you design'd it & I here send you to doe at once with the Will & I enclose you drafts for the Anuity Bond instead of this Codicil enclosed. Postscript: I enclose My Nephew's Letter. You will see what he request & I beg your enquiry & your opinion; it is of great consequence & soon as you can. I want to know who this Solicitor is that does business for Tho. Holt Esq. Redgrave, Suffolk. I have an idea he lives in Covent Garden but you know how to get it of a Suffolk man. [Note: Fearn is probably Charles Fearne, conveyancer, of Bream's Buildings, Chancery Lane; Oddy may be Henry Hoyle Oddie of Carey Street, Lincoln's Inn, an attorney in the Court of Common Pleas]
