  • Title
Letter from George Stephen Darlow to Aunt B. Writing from Peterhouse, Cambridge. Complains that the beastly weather is spoiling the tennis. Played golf at Royston, a very attractive course on the edge of the downs. Seems to have avoided being conscripted 'I expect it will be better for me to join the Territorials...before it happens.' Thinks there will be special provisions for students of conscript age. Local cinema was burnt down, fire proof projector the only thing inside which wasn't burnt.
