    Particulars, plans and conditions of sale advertising the following properties for sale by auction by Stafford and Rogers at the Swan Hotel on 1 March 1895 (Sharman and Trethewy acting as solicitors): (a) double fronted shop with dwelling house and business premises known as the 'Mercury Office' being 38/40 High St. in the occupation of Messrs. Rowland Hill and son; described as bounded on the N in part by property belonging to Messrs. Sell and Willshaw, on the remaining part and on the W by property of the representatives of the late E de V Corcoran, esq., on the E in part by High St and on the remaining part by property of W Roff, and on the S in part by property of WR and in part by the Corn Exchange. Title to be derived from the will dated 11 Nov 1858 of George Joyce of Kempston, baker, who died on 22 Nov 1858. (b) 22 Kimbolton Road as in Z892/6-7. Includes plan showing the Old George Inn yard and a distillery at the rear of St Paul's Wesleyan Chapel. Endorsed with a memorandum of agreement for sale as in Z892/12.
