Marriage settlement i) William Phibbs, Lieutenant in 23rd Regiment of Fusiliers at present stationed at Mullingar in Ireland ii) Rose Blanche de Moleyns, Rochester (Kent), spinster iii) James Butler, Waterville, Kerry, Esq Robert Henry Palk, 23rd Regiment (trustees) a marriage is intended to take place between i) and ii) ii) is possessed of: - Bond for £500 Chilean 6% loan 1867, dated 28 January 1867 - 5 Bonds of the Charkoff Azow (Russian) Railway Company, each for £100 and bearing at 5% p.a. dated Moskow 20 August/1 September 1868 - 3 Bonds of the Pennsylvanian Railway Company dated 1 July 1867, each of £200 and bearing interest at 6% p.a. - 24 Bonds of the Associated Railway Company of South Austria, Lombardy and Central Italy, each for 200 Austrian florins of £20 dated April 1871, with interest at 3% p.a. - 4 Bonds of the Swedish State Loan of 1868 dated 1 July 1868, each for £100 and interest at 5% p.a. - 5 Bonds of the U.S.A. dated 1 November 1865 redeemable after 5 and payable 20 years from date thereof, each for 1000 dollars and bearing annual interest of 60 dollars on each Bond - 2 Bonds of U.S.A. dated 1 July 1867, redeemable after 5 and payable 20 years from date, each for 1000 dollars with annual interest of 60 dollars on each Bond - 1 Bond of the Wellington Grey and Bruce (Province of Ontario, Canada) dated 1 July 1870 for £100 with interest at 7% p.a. now in consideration of said marriage, ii) with consent of i) has handed to iii) - said securities in trust for ii) until the marriage and then, after the marriage, to remain in their actual state of investment, with power to sell and reinvest, with consent of i) and ii) during their joint lives and then of the survivor, in public stocks or Government securities of U.K.., India, any Colony or Dependency or upon freehold, leasehold or chattel real securities in England, Wales or Ireland etc. Interest to i) for life and then to ii) for her own and separate use. Then for their children as appointed by i) and ii) in writing, or as the survivor shall appoint by will. Otherwise for sons when 21 and daughters at full age or marriage. Half of any intended share may be raised for a child's maintenance. Other provisions regarding maintenance of children. If no children, or none who reach the age of majority or (if a daughter) marry, then money etc applied as decided by ii) in trust for her if she survives i). If i) survives ii) then to be distributed as under provision for distribution of estates of intestates Various provisions including power to raise £500 for use of i).
