Admin/biog history
Mrs Ingrid Forsythe (nee Kokke) of 22, Linnett Way, Brickhill, Bedford, was born in Lithanuia, where her family were land owners, and she trained as a nurse there. On her way to England in 1939, to obtain more hospital experience here she was 3 days in a rail siding with the blinds down when German troops went through to begin World War II. After the War she returned to her homeland as an intrepreter, to find only a nephew left alive. She was a friend of Miss Wadelin's who cleared out her bungalow after her death from cancer.
