    Stevington - Well Pightle etc Manor of Steventon Admission reciting the death of Thomas Lawrence on - last, who held - cottage in Steventon - 5a ground adjoining now in occupation of Henry Clark - 38a 1r arable, ley and swerd ground in common fields of Steventon now also in occupation of Henry Clark - 1a meadow abutting on Nun Close - Cottage in Silver Street, Stevington, now in occupation of Mrs Dally - other cottage and shop etc in occupation of Robert Bowyer - other cottage and orchard or pightle adjoining in Stevington, in occupation of William Lovell By his will dated 24 June 1755, he devised to cousin Samuel Plackett, younger, of Ampthill weaver - first mentioned cottage and ground chargeable as mentioned in will to Uncle, Thomas Lawrence of Wellingborough, Northants, cordwainer - said 1a land for life, and then to Samuel Plackett to Ruth, wife of Thomas Coe of Stevington - above cottage in occupation of William Lovell for life, and then to Samuel Plackett to said Samuel Plackett - residue of estate Now said Samuel Plackett came to Court and was admitted tenant to property devised to him by Thomas Lawrence fines - not recorded Said Samuel Plackett now surrendered said property to his own use, for life, and then to use of his wife Constant, and after decease of both of them, as he, the said Samuel, shall give by his will Said Samuel and Constant were then admitted tenants to said property
