    Messuage and land in Radwell Assignment of mortgage i) Thomas Pearson, elder, Bedford, grocer Robert Norman, Radwell, Felmersham, carpenter (executors of will of Humphry Norman, late of Radwell, victualler, deceased) ii) Mary Wingell, Radwell, widow iii) Humphry Norman, Radwell, carpenter reciting mortgage of 25 March 1766 a)said Mary Wingell, as relict of William Wingell, late of Radwell, labourer, deceased b)said Humphrey Norman, deceased, by which a) released to b) - messuage, cottage etc (1a) in Radwell - piece of ground in Lower field of Radwell (3a 2r 28p) NE & SE Thomas Walker, gentleman SW Mary Pain, widow NW enclosed homesteads of Mary Wingate, Thomas Boddington and Daniel Berry, gentleman - deeds etc term - 500 years rent - 1 peppercorn to be void on payment of £16 and interest Said sum was not paid and estate of iii) became absolute in law for residue of said term and is now legally vested in i) On 25 July 1767 ii) borrowed from said Humphrey Norman now deceased, the further sum of £5 which is still owing Said £21 (ie £16 + £5) is still owing which ii) has prevailed on iii) to pay off on having mortgaged premises transferred to him Now in consideration of £21 paid to i) by iii), with consent of ii) i) transfer and ii) confirms to iii) - said messuage, property etc for residue of term of 500 years to be redeemed on payment of £21 and interest on 19 June next Signatures of i) (Thomas Pierson and Robeard Norman) endorsed receipt Witnesses William Allen Thos Pierson, jnr Thos Orlebar Marsh
