On 24 April John Randall, Stotfold, miller, by Henry Jeeves, his attorney, produced to the Steward of the Manor, an indenture of enfranchisement dated 1 February 1882 i) John Edmund Severne, Arthur Hutton Croft, Edward Barber Lindsell ii) Julius Alington iii) said John Randall consideration - £209 10s i) enfranchised to iii) - copyhold piece of land at Church End otherwise Frog End in Stotfold - cottage built thereon -3 pieces arable adjoining each other and being copyhold of the Manor (22a 2r 14p) forming part of newly enclosed field called Long Field S Charles Galer N ate William Vaugham, deceased W Long Field Road E public drain or watercourse separating Long Field and Stone Hill Field to which iii) was admitted tenant on 8 November 1881 on surrender of Robert Hindley Wilkinson - piece land (10p) in Stotfold at top of GermanyCroftS road leading to the Church- 2 cottage standing thereon, formerly erected by James Brown and in occupation of John Howard and Samuel Howard and now of -to which iii) was admitted tenant on 8 November 1881 on surrender of Bryan Ward GibbinsMarked at top "Examined with the Rolls of the Manor of Stotfold.
