    Manor of Biggleswade reciting that at a Court held on 23 and 24 April, William Hogg, late of Biggleswade, Esq., on the surrender of Mary Ann Cass, was admitted tenant to - toft whereon a copyhold messuage formerly stood in Shortmead Street, Biggleswade, but was then burnt down - piece of ground in Biggleswade opposite the Sun Inn and used as garden to the same (3r) -piece ground in Biggleswade (4a 3r 18p) being part of 2 closes one called Longwater Close and the other Lyon Close N other part of Lyon Close S partly Longwater Close, partly Pye Corner Close E formerly Bromsall Throckmorton, late John Bricheno, called Throughfare Close W Longwater Way formerly separate enclosures but then thrown together to form one field At a Court held on 1 May 1840, said William Hogg, on surrender of Frederick Hogg was admitted to - orchard or close pasture (2a) at Biggleswade, next to the Horse and Jockey formerly in occupation of Thomas Ventiman, since of John Sabey then of William Hogg N and pt W The Hon. Frances Henley Ongley S & E public road W (rem pt) Horse and Jockey On 3 December 1847 said William Hogg was on surrender of devisees under will of Thomas Dalton, deceased, admitted to - 2 tenements or dwelling houses, gardens etc., in Shortmead Street, Biggleswade N John Brunt E - Parrish formerly in occupation of Thomas Dalton, elder, deceased, and William Randall, afterwards John Dalton and said William Randall and since of - Isherwood and other then untenanted. Said William Hogge, who of late years had spelt his name Hogge, died on 7 July 1862.
