Letter addressed to Miss Johnson, at the Rev Mr Dabb's, at Stoke Goldington, Near Newport Pagnell, Bucks., from her brother, Wm Johnson [part missing].
Has just returned from a tour to Windsor. "My curiosity led me ... to see Eaton School, which is at present far from being in that flourishing condition it formerly has been in". Had pleasure of seeing Master Earl there.Have had an indifferent season for Vauxhall. Weather has not affected Ranelagh which is covered. [-] has found an excellent friend in Mr Eaton.
Whole family at Hendon are excessively fond of her. Mr Eaton chucks her under the chin. Fanny Lisle must be a little jealous.
