Letter to Miss Johnson from S Eaton, Hendon.
Thanks for last favour. "I have not vanity enough to imagine that I deserve one half of what those lines describe". Sorry to hear she has been ill of a Cholick complaint. Recommends tar water. Has not been able to visit friends at Colney. Were first hindered by the weather and then by visitors. Saw her father last week who said that "your Mamah" is still very much afflicted with gout and is taking tar water. Knows of nothing worth communicating.
