    Conveyance (i) George Barrett, Luton, carpenter (ii) Frederick Chase, Luton, gentleman (iii) Frederick Augustus Knight, Mitre Court Buildings, Temple, London, gentleman Now in consideration of £640 paid to (i) by (ii) (i) releases to (ii) 1stly - piece of land in Bailey Field (11p and 8 yds) NW Thomas Bigg SE Land late of Edward Chase and (ii) but now of Edward Cooley being in length 121 ft 6 ins. NE Road laid out by John Chase being in width 37 ft SW 12 cottages secondly described being in width at back 14 ft - 3 cottages lately erected and built on said piece of land by (i) which were late in occupations of James Milemore, James Mayo and Charles Costin but now of Charles Costin, William Eyres and William Cox. Which land and cottages etc were conveyed to (i) by: Appointment of 29 September 1843 and made between (a) John Chase and Frederick Chase (b) George Barrett (c) John Barrett 2ndly - piece of land in Bailey Field (20p and 2 yds) NW road lately marked out by John Chase NE Thomas Bigg NE (othersaid part) 3 cottages NE (other part) first piece of land (6p) thirdly hereinafter described and late of Edward and Frederick Chase SE piece pasture of Benjamin Bolton SW other piece land (14p) thirdly hereinafter described Said piece of land extends in width 42 ft and in length 130ft. - 12 cottages (lately 10, two more having been lately erected by (i)) now standing on said piece of land and in the occupations of Maria Norton, William Mardale, William Warren, William Holland, William Hardwick, Samuel Weekly, William Sharp, Joseph Rumball, George Dawson, James Martin and William Poulton Said land and cottages were conveyed to (i) by deed of 25 March 1844 [see Z713/4] 3rdly - piece of land in Bailey Field (6p) NE Elijah Edward Cooley and (i) SW said 12 cottages and land, in length - 72 ft SE pasture of Benjamin Bolton NW said 3 cottages and land in width - 24 ft - Other piece land (14p) NE said 12 cottages SW Edward and Frederick Chase in length - 127 ft 9 ins NW road laid out by John Chase SE pasture of Benjamin Bolton in width - 30 ft Said piece of land were conveyed to (i) by deed of 24 June 1845 [see Z713/6]. Said pieces of land secondly and thirdly described are now laid together, fenced in and form one property.
