    Draft Release and Indemnity i) William Grant, Lichborough, near Weedon, Northants, Esq. (the proving executor under the last will of Hannah Grant, Leighton Buzzard, widow, deceased) ii) John Dollin Bassett Francis Bassett (bankers of Leighton Buzzard) John Grant, by his will, dated 1 December 1840 and a codicil of 8 February 1842, appointed said Hannah Grant, his son-in-law Francis Darby and wife Hannah (daughter of testator), and Abraham Darby and (i) as executrixes and executors. He died on 29 December 1842. Will was proved (PCC) on 20 February 1843. Reciting death of Francis Darby. John Grant left Hannah Grant, his widow, who succeeded to his share in the partnership concern Reciting retirement of Peter John Bassett. Hannah Grant by her will dated 18 March 1847 appointed her daughter, Hannah Darby and (i) as executrix and executor. She died on 13 May last. Will proved (PCC) on 24 June by (i) alone. On death of Hannah Grant her interest in the banking partnership ceased and £2500 being the share of late John Grant became payable to (i) and Abraham Darby, the surviving executors. Also £450 - partnership profits - is owning to (i) as acting executor. Now in consideration of £450 paid to (i) by (ii) (i) releases, quit claims and exonerates from all actions, dues, sums of money, demands etc which (i) as acting executor may have against (ii) on account of share of Hannah Grant, deceased. Also (ii) release and quit claim, exonerates and discharge (i) from all actions, dues etc which they may have against (i) as such acting executor Also they will indemnity (i) from any debts engagements etc of partnership concern.
