    Instructions for releases 'Mr Howard' From copy articles of partnership etc will be seen that on death of John Grant on 29 December 1842, his widow Hannah Grant succeeded to his share in partnership and continued to her death on 13 May 1853. Peter John Bassett retired from partnership in 1843 and is since dead and firm now consists of John Dollin Bassett and Frances Bassett. Abraham Darby could become partner if desired. Has declined so will be necessary to make him a releasing party. Share of capital (£2500) must be considered as belonging to late John Grant and therefore liable to release in respect thereof. Surviving executors are Abraham Darby and William Grant (other executor, Francis Darby is dead). Said £2500 will be paid by Messrs Bassett to surviving executors. Hannah Grant was entitled to share in partnership profits to time of her death - amounting to £450 and this will be paid to William Grant who alone proved will.
