    Papers respecting the claim to Tithe hay. From the monument of Judge Winche in Everton Church. 'In Memory of Sr Humphry Winche, alias De La Winche, who in the 4 year of King James Ano Dm 1606 was sent by him to serve in Ireland first Chief Baron, after as Chief Justice and Councellor of State for this Kingdom from whence recalled, he served his Majesty as one of his Justices of the Court of Common Pleas at Westminster, and Councellor of State for Ireland until an Appollexie seised on him in his Robes the 4th day of Febry 1624 in the 71 year of his age whereof about 24 Hours afterwards died in Chancery Lane London whose corpse imbalmed was brought down and buried here below He married a Daughter of Sir Roger Burgoyne of Sutton Park.
