Reciting will of Francis, 7th Duke of Bedford, dated 7 May 1861 by which he devised his estates to (i) on trust, with power of sale with consent of the current tenant for life (ie (ii)) said Duke of Bedford died on 14 May 1861. Will proved (PPR) on 31 July 1861.
Now in consideration of £50 paid to (i) by (iii) (i), with consent of (ii) convey to (iii)
- piece of land in Goldington
N & NW (ii)
E turnpike road from Bedford to Kimbolton
S & SW Carriage drive from Clapham Park House to said road (as in plan on deed [which shows tollgate]) to use of (iii) for ever (iii) declare that no woman who shall be come their widows shall be entitled to dower out of said piece of land
(iii) Covenant with (ii) to fence off said piece of ground
