    Closes of land (Halsey Property), Clapham Covenant to produce (i) Thomas Frederick Halsey, Great Gaddesden Park, Herts, Esq. (ii) James Howard, Britannia Iron Works, Bedford, Esq, MP Frederick Howard, Britannia Ironworks, Esq Reciting that Thomas Plumer Halsey, subject to 2 annual sums or rent charges payable out of certain lands in Clapham (28a 1r 6p), which rent charges do not extend beyond the death of the survivor of himself and his mother, Sarah Halsey, and subject also to payments thereout for the benefit of John Fitzmoore Halsey during joint lives of himself and said Sarah Halsey, was entitled to said property expectant on death of said Sarah Halsey By Disentailing Assurance of 16 October 1837 (a) John FitzMoore Halsey and Sarah Halsey otherwise Sarah Moore Halsey (b) said Thomas P Halsey (c) The Rev Thomas Whately (d) Thomas Whately George Hammond George Tyrwhitt Drake (e) Thomas Dorrien Charles Gilles Payne (f) Samuel Crawley said John FitzMoore Halsey said Sarah M Halsey said T Whately William Whately (g) William Lake Enroled in Chancery on 8 March 1838 said closes were settled to use of T P Halsey with remainder to sons in tail male J F M Halsey died on 24 April 1864 and T P Halsey on 24 April 1854 (i) is eldest and only son of T P Halsey and attained 21 in 1860 and is entitled to said land for estate in inheritance in tail male expectant on decease of Sarah Moore Halsey By Disentailing Assurance of 7 September 1865 (1) S M Halsey (2) T F Halsey (3) Edward FitzMoore enrolled in Chancery on 25 September 1865 said closes were, with other property, settled to such uses as (1) and (2) should jointly by deed appoint. Otherwise to uses of deed of 16 October 1837. S M Halsey died in April 1869 By Deed Poll of 26 March 1870, endorsed on above, (1) appointed that said property should remain to use of (2) for his absolute use.
