    Main Descent of Clapham Park Estate Conveyance (i) The Hon Percy Ashburnham, Shernfold Park, Sussex Robert Vyner, Gauty, Lincs., Esq Henry Goodford, Lincolns Inn, Middx, Esq (ii) Bertram, Earl of Ashburnham (iii) James Howard Frederick Howard (Britannia Ironworks, Bedford, engineers) Reciting lease and release of 17 and 18 June 1824 by which various property in County of Bedford was conveyed to trustees, for sale. Money raised to pay off any mortgages on the property. Remainder in trust for George, Earl of Ashburnham, as part of his personal estate. Reciting also will of George, Earl of Ashburnham, dated 26 July 1827 by which he devised his property in Bedfordshire to trustees to raise money to pay the mortgage on his Suffolk estate and legacies and annuities bequeathed by his will. All other property devised to son, (ii). Said Earl died on 27 October 1830. Will proved on 29 December 1830 in PCC. Reciting appointment of new trustees of 25 October 1844 relating to the appointment of Percy Ashburnham and Henry Goodford.
