    Examined copy Bargain and Sale dated 8 August 1797 being a Lease forming part of Conveyance by indentures of Lease and Release (the Release being missing) from the Right Honourable Thomas Conolly of Castletown, Ireland, to Brook Allen Bridges, gentleman, of Red Lion Square, Middlesex, of: (a) the Manor of Tuddington alias Toddington with the quit rents, fines, copyhold rents and other rents, rights and royalties, members and appurtenances. (b) the Market House of Toddington and a Smiths shop there with lands adjoining or belonging containing 3/2/26 in the tenure or occupation of Joanna Osborne together with the tolls of fairs and markets at Toddington. (d) the Manor of Yongs with rights, royalties, members and appurtenances. (e) a yearly rent charge of £7 11s. 7d. payable to the Lord or Lady of the Manor of Yongs. (f) half of the corn tithes of Toddington and the hamlet of Chalton together with the tithe barn and yard containing 0/3/16 in the tenure or occupation of Joanna Osborne and Elizabeth Strange. (g) the advowson, right of patronage and presentation in and to the Church at Toddington. (h) all the fish ponds and plantations situate in the Manor Farm containing 16/0/18. (i) Manor Farm together with the Mansion House offices, barns and other buildings containing 209/3/35 in the tenure or occupation of Richard Atkins. (j) two pieces of grass land containing 19/3/21 late in the tenure or occupation of (blank) Drinkwater but now of Richard Atkins. (k) house water mill and land containing 6/0/38 in the tenures or occupations of George Drinkwater and Thomas Drinkwater. (l) Lodge Farm situated in Toddington and Tingrith together with the house, barns and other buildings on 264/2/29 late in the tenure or occupation of Richard Strange, now in the tenure or occupation of George Atterbury. (m) two pieces of grass land in Toddington called Stockings containing 35/0/6 in the tenure or occupation ofMary Brazier. (n) a house, garden, land and four cow commons in Toddington occupied lately by Elizabeth Burgess, but now by John Parker, and containing of 27/1/11. (o) the messuage or tenement in Toddington known as the Red Lion public house with the buildings, land and 2 cow commons containing 23/0/39 in the tenure or occupation of Francis Fowler. (p) the messuage or tenement barns and other buildings and land containing 112/2/23 in the tenure or occupation of Thomas Garlick. (q) several pieces of enclosed and open field land in Toddington containing 21/1/6 late in the tenure or occupation of Elizabeth Strange, but now by Joseph Gregory. (r.) two pieces of land called Stockings containing 22/0/29 in the tenure or occupation of Mary Hobbs. (s) Long Lane Farm - with messuage, barn and other buildings - in Toddington and Tingrith containing 87/2/9 in the tenure or occupation of Elizabeth Horley, widow. (t) Cow Bridge Farm - with messuage, barn and other buildings - in Toddington containing 117/1/19 in the tenure or occupation of Edward Horley. (u) the messuage or tenement with the barn and other buildings together with several pieces of enclosed and open field land in Toddington containing 215/1/13 late in the tenure or occupation of Andrew King and now in the tenure or occupation of John Eames. (v) the messuage or tenement known by the name or sign of the Griffin with the barn and other buildings plus several parcels of enclosed and open field land containing 151/2/27 in the tenure or occupation of Joanna Osborne. (w) the messuage or tenement with the garden and two cow commons containing 0/3/32 in Toddington in the tenure or occupation of Joseph Osborne. (x) the messuage or tenement in Toddington containing 1 rood in the tenure or occupation of Michael Palmer. (y) Herne Farm in Toddington comprising of the messuage, barn, stables and other buildings plus 219/1/30 of land in the tenure or occupation of the representatives of the late Elizabeth Pateman. (dd) the piece or parcel of land called Oaks Close in Harlington containing 5/1/12 in the tenure or occupation of Henry Letch. (ee) several pieces of enclosed and open field land in the parish of Westoning containing 23/2/36 late in the tenure or occupation of Abraham Dix and now by Henry Letch. (ff) several parcels of land in Toddington and Harlington called Long Jacob, Bushy Close and Little Pawlings containing 24/1/5 part late in the tenure or occupation of Joseph Poulton and the whole now in the tenure or occupation of Henry Letch. (gg) several parcels of land in Harlington, Westoning and Tingrith containing 58/1/18 late in the tenure or occupation of Matthew Rolf and now in the tenure or occupation of Henry Letch. (hh) three pieces of land and a coppice containing 41/2/39 in Harlington and Toddington late in the occupation of John Banwell and now in the occupation of George Godfrey. (ii) three pieces of land in Tingrith and Eversholt comprising of 16/1/34 in the tenure or occupation of Adam Quarry subject to payment of an annual rent of £20 out of the Manor of Toddington to Lady Cheney's Almhouses in Toddington and to the annual payment of £1 19s out of the Manor of Toddington to the Rector of Toddington in lieu of privy tithes for part of the Manor Farm of Toddington.
