    Gift from John Webdale the elder of New Bedford Road, Luton, warehouseman, to his sons John Webdale the younger of Alma Street in Luton, Robert Webdale, Thomas Cook Webdale and William Frederick Webdale, all of New Bedford Road, warehousemen, of equal shares in: (a) ten perches of land as in /1(a) [in Wellington St.] described here as bounded on the E by premises formerly belonging to Thomas Thomlin now belonging to William Stalker, on the W by premises formerly belonging to the Marquess of Bute now belonging to William Roberts, and on the S by land and premises belonging to the devisees of Francis Butterfield; and the two messuages or shops and outbuildings erected on the land. Recites /1; and that JW the elder 'many years since' erected two messuages or shops, outbuildings and appurtenances on the land; and that the business of warehousemen has been carried on in the premises under the name of "Webdale and Sons" 'for many years past'. Endorsed with Conveyances, dated 10 May 1894, of a fourth share from Thomas Cook Webdale now of Stuart Street, Luton to John Webdale the younger, Robert and William Frederick Webdale now both of Dunstable Road, Luton, for the sum of £500; and 28 Dec 1894, of a third share from William Frederick Webdale of Dunstable Road, to John Webdale the younger of New Bedford Road and Robert Webdale, for the sum of £666 13s 4d. Latter mentions all other additional buildings erected since the gift.
