Material assembled and compiled by Patricia Bell, County Archivist, in the course of a research project to compile a pedigree of the Stannard family and identify the location of pictures by members of the family. These papers belong to the County Record Office.
Some of the material may be sensitive (e.g. information on the whereabouts of pictures and some family details). There is no fixed embargo, but access is at the discretion of the duty staff. Notes by Giles Godber from published works and Royal Academy catalogues concerning the works of the Stannards of Norwich and the Bedfordshire Stannards.
Includes lists of paintings exhibited at the Royal Academy by members of the family.(Undated)
