    AWARD (Legible under Ultra Violet) Thos Chapman of New Street, Spring Gardens, Westminster, land valuer, recites appointment of 10 Oct 1854 under seal of Midland Railway Co, who were enabled by Act of Parliament to purchase certa lands in schedule and these were the property of Frances, Ann, Eliz and Catherine Willimson, Rev Ric Williamson clerk, D.D. and Rev. Wm Williamson, clerk, and they were enabled to convey by Act of Parliament. Recites that on 28 Aug last notice was served on the Williamsons by the Railway Co that they required to purchase; that no agreement has been reached, that Hen Trewthewy was appointed as arbitrator by Railway Co, and Jas Bailey Denton by the Williamsons. That Thos Chapman has now been nominated as umpire, and the arbitrators are unable to agree. Neverthless Thos Chapman awards £360 to be paid by the Co as compensation.
