    VALUATION FOR COMPENSATION; (Legible only under ultra violet) Recites that Midland Railway Co. has occasion to take and use the hereds in schedule in Shefford and that they are vested in the feoffees, that 2 surveyors have been appointed to determine amount of compensation to be paid. The surveyors, Matt. Reynolds of ?Ward...,Beds, land valuer, and Hen Trethewy of Silsoe, nominated in 1855 on behalf of John Brown of Shefford, tailor and draper, Wm Freshwater of Welwyn, Herts, draper, Robt Johnson, plumber and glazier, Wm. Caton, draper, Jas Trustram, schoolmaster, Jas Milner Layman, surgeon, John Lovell, bootmaker, Mansell Millard, brewer and Ed West, draper, all of Shefford, the Feoffees, in whom the hereds.are now vested, and on behalf of the Midland Railway Co, to determine the amonut of money to be paid by the Co. for permanent damage sustained by the owners. The surveyors value this at £360.
