Scope and Content
Area shown bounded roughly by Mander College and the town bridge(south)the rear of the Granada Cinema (east), open country at Putnoe and Brickhill (north) and Ford End bridge over the railway (west). The Town Hall and Moat House Hotel, both opened in 1963, are not yet built, while construction of Gwyn and Patteshall Courts in the central development area and opened on 9th April 1962, is at an early stage.
