i) Agrees to let and ii) to take - Part of messuage in St Cuthbert's now used as a Reading Room together with the Ante Chamber, or cloakroom and lavatories - Use of furniture and fixtures, gas and electric light fittings in the said rooms, as in inventory underwritten to hold the same on Friday and Saturday evenings throughtout the year from 12 noon to midnight and other times as sanctioned by i) term - 1 year from 29 September 1904 and so on from year to year rent - £22 10s yearly Various agreements by i) and ii) including agreement to keep room solely as a Reading Room No liability shall attach to ii) except in official capacity
