    Deed to secure a further charge i) Robert Moon, Eaton Socon, baker ii) William Law, Eaton Socon, grocer reciting mortgage of 3 March 1781 between the same 2 parties by which i) demised to ii) - cottage then divided into 2 and orchard belonging in Eaton Socon, late in occupation of i) and then William Ruff and William Stocker and sometime before purchased by Robert Moon of Thomas Single and wife Elizabeth term - 1000 years subject to redemption on payment by i) of £40 and interest Said sum of £40 is still due and owing but all interest has been paid to date i) has occasion for further £40 which ii) has agreed to lend him on security of said mortgaged premises, and interest Now i) in consideration of £40 paid by ii), confirms to ii) said cottage etc for residue of said term of 1000 years -i) covenants to pay to ii) said £40 on 9 June next said cottage to stand as security for said £40 now lent and interest and also for other £40. Property shall not be redeemed until both sums and interest repaid If default made in payment, property to be conveyed to ii) signature of i) endorsed receipt for £40 from ii) for 'the full consideration money' on the 'day and year first within written' signed by i) witnesses Ann Day [signs by mark] E Billet.
