Receipts and Payments book made by Ed. Chapman on account with Wm. Dent
(Includes cost of binding William apprentice, his clothing, pocket money etc.). Ed. Chapman was Mayor of Bedford and other people mentioned in the account book were various local solicitors and tradesmen. Wm. Dent does not appear to be a local boy, though. Certainly no reference to his baptism appears in the printed parish registers.
