Title
Copy of letter from F B, the Heath, Leighton Buzzard, to Mr Harris. Has his letter which he is sorry to receive. On 8th of last month he recived a letter from his nephew asking for a loan of £150 for 1 month. Under circumstances of wife's condition, writer sent a cheque for the amount and requesting a note of hand for the same. Has heard nothing from him since letter of 11th 'and I feel indignant at this underhand treatment'. On his [Frank's] mother's death, when money left by his grandfather was divided he gave them all to understand that they must not look to him in the future. They were entitled under the will to £18,000 i.e. £3,000 each but he was able to pay them £4000 each. 'This afforded me the greatest gratification..'. Cannot promise to see him in London so suggests Mr Harris comes to Leighton Buzzard. 7 ASugust 1898
