Copy of reply from F.B, The Club, Scarborough, to G E Cruickshank. Has been at Scarborough for his health. Hopes to return home in the middle of next month when he will confer with him regarding appointment of new trustees. Policies of brother-in-law, Henry Tylor, would have been void if he had not come to the rescue. Creditors would not have got more than 6s 8d in the £ 'I engaged to keep down the premiums and interest due to the Friends Prov Inst which I have done to the present time'. Changes in H T 's life interest were given to secure these payments. On death of Edward Paull writer received payment of the £1200 advanced by himself, and he believes items under iv) were satisfied, but would refer him to John B Tylor.
As regards to £3900 when Bonus is declared at end of year, they will be fully secured.
