Includes illustration of the memorial and facsimile letter by the General Manager of the Company describing the memorial and proposed dedication ceremony. Contains names of 2833 dead (out of a total of 22941 serving). Format: Name (alphabetical order), initials, rank and unit in the forces, position, department and station on the railway. (P Worboys was a drayman in the Goods Department at Luton Station). Includes tables of railway employees who joined the forces, men who died, men wounded or invalided and men taken prisoner. List of decorations conferred on employees and summary of work carried out in the Company's shops.
