Release [lease missing] ) James Kingham, Leighton Buzzard, tallow chandler, and wife Martha ii) John Knowlton, Leighton Buzzard, chirurgeon consideration - £280 paid to i) by ii) i i) releases to ii) (in his actual possession by virtue of a lease for a year) - messuage in Leighton Buzzard W shop in tenure of John West (formerly part of above messuage) Thomas Price E heirs of Gyles Firth, deceased S common street now in occupation of i) - all outhouses, barns, stables, cellars, shops, work house, watercourses, freeboards etc belonging - liberty of entry for ii) to pump standing between above messuage and messuage of Thomas Price and to take water from said pump - liberty of passage for ii) through backyard of Thomas Price's messuage or through such part as is freehold and not copyhold, into and from Friday Lane and for carrying his wood, straw or other things ii) to pay half cost of keeping pump, and gates and bridge at end of backyard in good repair Said premises were purchased by i) from Rebecca King to be held freed from any former claims etc or from dower and thirds of said Martha except a mortgage made by i) on 15 March 1710, for a term of 500 years, to Joane Sowthen of Luton, spinster, which said term is intended to be assigned in trust for ii) Fine to be levied of the premises signatures of ii) endorsed receipt witnesses Nathan Marsom S Marsom.
