Title
Counterpart Lease for 31 years from John Higgins of Turvey Abbey, esquire (i) to John Whitworth the younger of Turvey, yeoman (ii) of:
- dwelling house and water corn mill with the homestead and appurtenances on the River Ouze in Turvey
- several closes of old inclosed pasture ground in Turvey adjoining the mill (containing together 26a. 3r. 34p.) called Bakers Close, Old Parsonage Close, and the Mill Holme previously in the occupation of John Davison.
Excepting and reserving unto (i) specified rights to timber, right of way over the demised premises and rights to the rushes in the River Ouze.
Demise:
Unto (ii), his executors and administrators from 9 Sep 1814 paying a yearly rent of £105.
Attached particulars and valuation of the land; a survey and estimate of the necessary repairs dated 11 Aug 1815 prepared by Thomas Lilburne of Cardington; also memorandum of agreement for lease from (i) to (ii).
