Assignment and confirmation from Mrs Ann Bass, of widow of Thomas Bass, deceased (acting as mortgagee), at the direction of William Bithrey of Snelson in the parish of Lavendon, Bucks., grazier, only son and heir of William Bithrey, late of Radwell in the parish of Felmersham, (acting as mortgagor) to Henry Goodman of Cranfield, yeoman of a mortgage as in Z 178/11. Recitals: - Z 178/10-11 - Death of Thomas Bass intestate and administration of his estate granted to (i), by means whereof she became legally possessed of and interested in the mortgaged premises for the residue of the term. - AB called in the outstanding debt of £270. Witnesses: Whitley Sale and Richard Lovesey Endorsed with memorandum dated Nov 1795, that in the month of Oct 1794 WB sold and conveyed the fee simple equity of redemption and inheritance of the mortgaged premises to Frances Litchfield of Carlton, widow, [see Z 178/26] who paid HG £100, part of the within mentioned mortgage and has since paid all the interest, leaving £170 of the Principal money and interest to be paid (as of 10 Oct 1785).
