    Indenture of Further Charge and Mortgage by Demise with covenant to levy a fine. Parties (i)Thomas Giddings of Duloe in the parish of Eaton Socon, carpenter, and his wife Susanna (daughter and devisee for life of the land below by virtue of the will of Samuel Folbigg (as in /1) late of Duloe, yeoman, deceased) and William Giddings of Duloe, carpenter (son of SG and devisee in remainder or reversion expectant on her decease of and in the land by virtue of the will of SF) (ii)John Topham late of 'Begurey' but now of Wyboston in Eaton Socon, farmer. Recitals. Indenture of Mortgage by demise for 500 years, dated 17 Nov 1791, from SF to (ii), of a messuage, cottage or tenement in Duloe in Eaton Socon, then in the occupation of SF (general words clause specifying outhouses, edifices, buildings, barns, stables, yards, orchards, gardens, hedges, ditches, trees, fences, ways, waters, watercourses, commons, profits, privileges and appurtenances) to secure £40 and interest. That the principal money was not paid at the limited day whereby the estate of and interest of (ii) in the mortgaged premises became absolute at law. That there is now due and owing upon the security, £40, all interest being paid. That (i) have applied to (ii) to advance and lend them the further sum of £90 on the credit and security of the premises. Operative part Several agreement, grant and declaration that the sum of £90 now lent (receipt etc having been acknowledged) shall carry interest after the rate of £5 for £100 by the year and that (a) - (b) shall be charged and incumbered therewith as well as the £40 already secured on the same premises. Mortgage by demise for 1000 years sans impeachment of waste from (i) to (ii), to secure £130, of: (a)the said messuage, cottage or tenement and premises mentioned in recital. (b)plot or parcel of land in Eaton Socon containing 1 ac. 1r. 29p. awarded to SF on the Inclosure of Eaton Socon in lieu of the common right appurtenant to (a), as in /1. Proviso for cesser of the term upon repayment of the 2 principal sums of £40 and £90 with all interest on 15 March next. Covenant by (i) to acknowledge and levy a fine sur conusans de droit come ceo etc with proclamations (as of the last Trinity term, the next Michaelmas term or in some subsequent term) to (ii) which shall be and enure to the use and behoof of (ii) for the term specified subject to the proviso and from and after the end or determination of the term and subject thereto, to such uses etc as SG (as well during coverture as if sole and unmarried) and WG shall jointly direct, limit or appoint and for want of and until such joint direction etc, to SG for life and, after her decease, to such uses etc as WG shall direct, limit or appoint and in default thereof to WG in fee. Assignment and transfer from TG to (ii) for his own use of an Instrument or Policy of Insurance dated 24 June 1806 whereby TG as 'Thomas Giddings of Dulo...victualler' insured (a), inter alia, from losses by fire in the Globe Insurance Office.
