    1832 20 July `Mr John Bonfield senior put an end to his existence by throwing himself into the river. The natural causes appear to me to be partly from a constitutional weakness increased much by intemperance'. [Buried 22 July 1832 aged 55 in Harrold churchyard] 26 September. `We are hearing of the spread of that fatal disease the cholera' 1833 5 December `Have heard today of the death of a Dear friend and relative, My Brother's wife at Northampton... O what must be the transport of her spirit to find herself with her dear little infant...' 1835 May. Poem/Hymn [with typed transcription] 1837 21 August. `I have this day been called to meet with a severe and heavy trial in the Death of a dear and only Daughter full seventeen years of age..' Her health had been declining for 7 or 8 _ months.[Typed transcription]. Her death bed conversation given and her favourite hymns mentioned.
