1811 June 12 `Wednesday afternoon have been
attending to the most solemn engagement of joining
ourselves to one another and to the Lord'
Nov the 10th `Since I wrote last I have been
exercised in a variety of ways. I have been
concerned in Things which have turned my heart from
God & I have taken A Companion for Life & hope one
that loves the Lord....'.
Dec the 8 `I have met with a sharp trial today.Have
lost my dear friend mentioned in June the 30. He
has lived very near to me & has died happy in the
Lord'.
