Addressed to Floore, near Weedon. Thanks her for birthday note. She will be pleased to know that he feels better but for last 6 days has had bronchitis.
Mrs Jones is enjoying holiday with kinsfolk in London and Suburbs. Darling boy is very good, but troubled with cold. His sister is fairly well.
She expressed a wish that he had been preaching on 'The Childhood of Jesus.' Preached on this subject last September. The Reverend P Alliott, M.A., of Bishop's Stortford was present with his family and said afterwards how pleased he was that his children had heard the sermon.
'That last paragraph I could only write to one who knows me as you do; for to a stranger it would seem egotistic if not conceited.'
Please excuse him writing anymore - feels tired.
