Carbon copy of letter from Lord Luke to Lady Melchett.
Has received a pencilled note from Lord Melchett with regard to the future breeding of hounds. Some of Hunt feel that breeding toward the North West Wilts has gone far enough and would like to work back to Pack Esme Arkwright had five years ago. Committee is to be consulted on the breeding. Lord Melchett has been appointed member of the Committee for 3 years. `..A very hearty vote of thanks to Lord Melchett for all he had done was passed by the Meeting assembled, and I mentioned that I hoped some day when he is quite well again he would be willing again to become master'
