Series vary with the changes to the organisation. In 2014 a new publication intended for sale to non-members was introduced to accompany the newsletter for members. Called Bedford Local History Magazine, it was intended to fill a gap in the market for the publication of original articles about Bedford's history and archaeology which was perceived to have developed since the demise of the Bedfordshire Magazine.
