    Son of E H C Inskip and Florence Mary Inskip (ne May). Obituary in Beds Times 18 September 1959 reads: 'A Bedford Town councillor since 1955, Mr Geoffrey May Inskip, The Gable Cottage, Goldington Green, died early on Tuesday at his home. Aged 53, he leaves a widow and four sons. Mr Inksip, an architect and surveyor, whose business is to be continued by his eldest son, had been ill for two years. He was a Justice of the Peace. Elected to the Town Council as a Conservative member for De Parys ward in 1955 Mr Inskip served on the Civil Defence, Highways and Sewage and Waterworks committees. He was the son of the late Mr E H C Inskip and of Mrs F M Inskip, 31 Goldington Road, Bedford and was at Bedford School from 1916 until 1922. He was a director of Bedford Permanent Building Society and of Bedford Association Buildings Ltd. He was also on the local board of directors of the Bedford General Insurance Company Ltd following his father who had acted in the same capacity. A member of Bedford Group Hospitals Management Committee, Mr Inskip was vice-chairman of Park Hospital and Biggleswade Hospitals Committee. He was surveyor to the Harpur Trust and a member of St John's Hospital Trust. Mr Inskip was a past president of the Rotarty Club of Bedford and as a Freemason was a member of the Robert De Parys Lodge and Stuart Chapter....'
