    Introduction An Inner Wheel Club is for the ladies of the members of a Rotary Club. The objects of the club are: - " To promote true friendship " To encourage the ideals of personal service " To foster international understanding The Association consists of clubs in Great Britain and Ireland. International Inner Wheel unites clubs in countries all over the world. The Inner Wheel Club of Barton le Clay was inaugurated 11 Nov 1987 and its Charter presented 3 June 1988. There were 13 founder members and the number grew to 26. Together they raised a considerable sum of money for UK charities and international aid projects. The club was disbanded in June 2002 because it was unable to meet the requirements of the Association Constitution regarding Committees and Officers. However the club still meets regularly for social evenings once a month [2005].
