Title
Abstract of the title of Arthur Kedman Horn to 11 North Street, Leighton Buzzard, Beds.
(I) Mortgage dated 25th Mar 1905.
Parties:
(i) Sarah Jane Whittaker wife of Frederick William Whittaker of 11 North Street, fishmonger.
(ii) Rose Jackson of 20 West Street, Dunstable, Beds, spinster.
Operative:
- Mortgage from (i) to (ii) for £200 with interest. (i) conveys (a) to (ii) as security for repayment.
Property:
(a) Dwellinghouse, shop and premises with outbuilding and yard called 11 North Street, Leighton Buzzard then in the occupation of (i). Bounded on W by North Street and all other sides by property belonging to the trustees of the late William Brantom.
Habendum:
- Unto (ii) subject to usual mortgage provisos for redemption and a right for the owners of 9 North Street to enter upon (a) for the purposes of drawing and carrying away water from the pump and well.
(II) 17th May 1924: Reconveyance of 11 North Street, Leighton Buzzard, Beds from Rose West to Sarah Jane Whittaker as all principal money and interest on the mortgage at I has been repaid.
(III) Conveyance dated 14th May 1928.

(i) Sarah Jane Whittaker then of 36 Ash Road, Luton, Beds.
(ii) Walter Morley Jordan of 2 Victoria Road, Linslade, Buckinghamshire, confectioner.

- In consideration of £550 (i) conveys (a) to (ii).

- To the use of (ii) subject to a right of way allowing the existing owners of 9 North Street to use the pump and well in the yard.
(IV) Conveyance dated 21 Feb 1935.

(i) Walter Morley Jordan
(ii) Henry Samuel of Leighton Buzzard, chemist
Operative:
- In consideration of £500 (i) conveys (a) to (ii).

(a) as at recital I.
Habendum:
- To the use of (ii) subject to a right of way allowing the existing owners of 9 North Street to use the pump and well in the yard.
(V) Henry Samuel died on the 3rd Jun 1935.
(VI) Will of Henry Samuel (either dated or proved at Oxford District Probate on the 18th Sep 1935) whereby Barclays Bank Ltd of 54 Lombard Street, London were appointed sole executors.
(VII) Conveyance dated 18th Feb 1936.

(i) Barclays Bank Ltd.
(ii) Arthur Kedman Horn of Wing, Buckinghamshire, estate agents clerk.
Operative:
- In consideration of £850 (i) conveys (a-b) to (ii).
Property:
(a) as at recital I but with an extended description… 'together with a right of drainage through 9 North Street to the main sewer (ii) paying one half cost of repairing the drain as the said hereditaments were then in the occupation of the personal representatives of Sidney George Wilkinson, deceased for the remainder of a term of 21 years from the 29th Sep 1932 created by a lease dated 21st Sep 1932'.
