Dick has offer of homestead and surrounding land of Old Farm from Lord Chesham's trustees think he will take it as fair offer will work well with this farm mentions Annie going to "biddings and garden parties" hope they have a nice holiday together; had a little rain yesterday but not enough sorry to hear Miss Fryer ordered to have complete rest - not fully recovered from operation last August
