Originally part in Clapham and part in Goldington parishes the area was from 1973-2019 part of a partnership with the Putnoe Heights Methodist church enabling Church of England services to be held at the Putnoe Heights Methodist Church and Methodist services to be held in St Mark's Brickhill.
